ABB reinvests in South Boston, expands transformer facility
A member of our community since 1968, ABB recently completed a major expansion of its small power transformer operations. The facility occupies 90,000 square feet and involved a $28.6 million investment from the state of Virginia, the IDA, and ABB. 127 new jobs will bring ABB's total local employment to 600 by the end of the year.
